About Janna
I’m Janna Tenney — photographer, creative director, and founder of The Parlor Social Club. For years, I poured my heart into The Candor Studio, curating experiences that felt like stepping into a boutique hotel — elegant, intentional, and alive with detail. The studio was a dream realized, but eventually, it began to whisper a new truth: it was time to bring that beauty home.
So I did.
Today, I’ve traded the grand studio walls for the warmth of my own home — a place where work and life intertwine. My office now overlooks the simple rhythms that inspire me most: morning light, quiet rituals, community, and conversation. Photography remains at the heart of what I do, but this chapter invites more — more storytelling, more meaning, more space to connect as women crafting lives of depth and intention.
This site is an extension of that shift.
It’s part journal, part philosophy, part invitation — for women who believe in living artfully, thinking deeply, and curating their own kind of soft power.
